Karen Klein, JD
CEO
Karen brings over two decades of legal and entrepreneurial expertise to the position of chief executive officer for Silver Planet. Before joining Silver Planet and MySeniors as general counsel, Karen served as general counsel for Topics Entertainment, the largest privately held consumer software company in the United States. She has over 25 years of legal experience in the corporate and private sectors, focusing on intellectual property, employment law, litigation, and strategic planning.
Karen has a distinguished record of community involvement through her years of service as director on numerous boards, including those of the Washington Women Lawyers, the YWCA, and the Health, Housing, and Human Services Council, where she led fundraising and partnership campaigns for the respective organizations. Karen has been recognized for transforming grassroots sentiments into viable, effective legal organizations to promote justice. She has successfully managed a mayoral campaign and has taught writing, advocacy, and legal classes to university students and professional audiences throughout the country.
Karen holds a BA from the University of Michigan, a JD from Boston University School of Law, and a Mini-MBA Business Certificate from Boston University School of Management. She currently serves on the board of the Washington Association of Corporate Counsel and the board of the Whistler Vacation Club, an international timeshare company. In her spare time, she mentors professionals and enjoys biking, skiing, and traveling with her family.
Wallace Wright
Operations/Finance
Wallace Wright brings over twenty-five years of executive management and business ownership experience to Silver Planet. Wallace built his extensive financial and operations background working with startups and established companies.
As CFO, Wallace has successfully led companies through turnarounds and driven operational changes to increase revenues. Wallace has proven success working in a wide range of industries including international trade, private education and technology consulting. Along the way, he has developed and demonstrated skills useful to businesses at any stage of their growth cycle.
As President of Career Choices, Inc., Wallace successfully directed a complex and challenging turnaround. His efforts resulted in the company’s acquisition and an exceptionally high return for investors.
Prior to his work building companies and acting as CFO, Wallace worked as controller and accountant representing Fortune 500 clients in the technology and manufacturing industries.
Wallace graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Southern Oregon University with a B. S. in Business Administration.
Debbie K. Hulbert
Technology
Debbie Hulbert brings more than ten years of internet industry, website design, and corporate branding experience to Silver Planet. Debbie’s work has benefitted organizations of all sizes as she has worked with individuals, small businesses and large, global corporations. In each case, Debbie has provided robust website designs built to meet aesthetic tastes while meeting or exceeding usability and functionality requirements.
Debbie holds a BA in Comparative Sociology from the University of Puget Sound and this has given her the people insight to create lasting branding solutions. Debbie’s love has been working one-on-one with small businesses to create beautifully designed websites that allow them to compete with larger corporations in a cost effective and efficient way.

Ric Becker came to Silver Planet with over twenty years of writing and editing experience geared to a wide variety of audiences and covering many different formats and channels. Ric has written for the internet for over five years and in the information technology industry for four.
Ric’s background is in education and technical writing. Editing is integral part of producing newsletters, notes home, end-user manuals and technical system operations guides.
