Silver Planet Launches Senior Housing Maps

Bainbridge Island, WA – Silver Planet®, empowering boomers and seniors to age with choice, announces a new partnership with Life Events Media, which has created an online locator map that allows seniors and their caregivers to easily find assisted living facilities in a desired area. The Silver Planet Senior Housing Map enables you to search for a facility by state or ZIP code. It's part of Silver Planet's goal of helping guide readers through the maze of eldercare choices to make important decisions.
Life Events Media, an online provider of tools and guides for consumers over 50, has a suite of "locator" tools that display directory listings for key services on digital maps. The Silver Planet tool provides a bird's-eye view of the addresses and contact information for the more than 43,000 assisted living facilities in the United States.
"The mapped display of available facilities provides an innovative and practical way for users to easily find and compare assisted living facilities," said Tony Cook, president of Life Events Media. Information—including the locations of hospitals, clinics, and other relevant health industry providers—will continue to be added to the map.
