Silver Planet Adds Conflict Coach Debbie Reinberg to Silver Advisors
September 30, 2010
Bainbridge Island, WA – Silver Planet®, a resource that helps boomers guide their parents to age in place by providing advisory services and products related to aging at home, is pleased to announce the addition of family conflict coach Debbie Reinberg to its roster of Silver Advisors™.
Ms. Reinberg has worked in the geriatric field since 1987. She has trained in mediation since 2005 through the Institute for Advanced Dispute Resolution (IADR) and assisted in curriculum development for IADR’s Healthcare/Eldercare Mediation course.
"We're so glad Debbie's agreed to become a Silver Advisor," said Silver Planet CEO Karen Klein. "Families often quarrel over property, end-of-life care, caregiving roles, living arrangements, power-of-attorney, et cetera. But when family members won't budge, it's often hard to convince them to resolve matters by meeting around a table with a professional.
"This is where Debbie's advice can be invaluable," Klein continued. "As a conflict coach, she provides practical steps an individual can take on his or her own to help move everyone from fighting to solution-focused thinking.
"Anyone experiencing family conflict will benefit from Debbie's focus on helping people learn how to better approach their specific family situations, achieve agreement, and move past tension and anger," Klein concluded.
