How do I add a comment? To add a comment to the article, blog entry, or forum topic, click on the “Post a Comment” button. Your comment will appear underneath the last comment that was added.
How do I reply to a person’s comment? If you want to reply to a person’s comment, click on “Reply to this post” at the bottom of the person’s comment. Your comment will appear indented and underneath the comment you replied to.
Can I edit my comment? You are able to edit your comments until someone else has replied to your comment. Just click on "Edit" underneath your comment.
Can I add links in my comment or use HTML to format text in my comments?
- Web page addresses and email addresses turn into links automatically. Just type in the address.
- You can use basic HTML tags, such as <em>, <strong>, and <li>, to italicize, bold, and make lists.
- Lines and paragraphs break automatically. If paragraphs are not recognized simply add a couple blank lines.
- If you have questions about formatting your comments, click “More information about formatting options” underneath the box where you enter your comment.
Why is my comment not showing? After you type your comment into the box, make sure you click submit. This saves the comment and allows it to appear properly. If your comment was showing and no longer is showing, Silver Planet staff may have removed it for a various reasons. Please see the next question.
Why is my comment no longer showing up on Silver Planet or why are my comments being blocked? A comment might be removed or blocked if it is abusive, doesn’t pertain to topic, contains excessive foul or inappropriate language, or includes an ad hominem attack.
All commenters must agree to the Terms of Use when they register on Silver Planet.
