Kenneth F. Bunting

Kenneth Bunting spent parts of four decades as a journalist, executive, and leader in the newspaper industry. He was associate publisher at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer when that newspaper ended 146 years of print publication in March 2009. He was “the P-I’s” executive editor from 2000 to 2005 and its managing editor from 1993 to 2000. Immediately before moving to Seattle, Bunting, a native of Houston, was senior editor at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where he also served as state capitol bureau chief.
