Days of Drums

An intriguing political thriller

DAYS OF DRUMS

By Philip Shelby
(Reviewed by Carla Hedstrom)

Holland Tylo is a Secret Service agent assigned to guard Senator Charles Westbourne at a top-level meeting with other political bigwigs. However, the evening takes a turn for the worse when the politician is brutally murdered.

Tylo is blamed by her superiors for Senator Westbourne’s death and knows that she must do everything she can to clear her name. Unfortunately, she uncovers evidence of a conspiracy that points to high-ranking government agencies, and the computer disk the senator handed her minutes before his death makes her the target of those conspirators.

This is a good, exciting read with twists and turns galore—it’s not until the end that the reader and Tylo know who her friends and enemies are.

If you like political thrillers, this one is definitely worth your time.
