Are you ready? Come on along and read some homespun poetry as well as a jot and tittle regarding distinguished poets and their works. Today is a sunglasses-and-jacket kind of day. Sunshine spilled over my face as I filled my birdfeeder and headed to work this morning. The birds seemed happy to see me, probably because snow still covers large patches of the ground. But hope runs high in little birdie bosoms, and they don’t hesitate to sing in anticipation of bare ground and fat worms!
What a perfect morning to write a short spring poem, I thought to myself—and so I did.
Now I’m wondering if you, dear reader, have a favorite poem about spring. Maybe you have written one that can be featured on the Silver Sage blog? Please make a comment. I would love to hear from YOU.
