Eli Goodman, MD

Dr. Eli Goodman is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine internship and residency training at the Medical College of Virginia and Hahnemann University School of Medicine, respectively.
He has had extensive clinical and teaching experience in a variety of settings, including private practices, hospital-based clinics, and community health clinics. He is a former medical director of the Philadelphia Prison System (one of the largest jail systems in the country), and a former clinical assistant professor of medicine at both the Medical College of Pennsylvania and the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine
Dr. Goodman is currently the head internal medicine physician of a large community health care center in Burlington, Iowa. He is also the president of the Des Moines–Louisa County Medical Society, in Burlington. He has written extensively about both medical and nonmedical topics and has created and hosted radio programs. His areas of expertise include clinical internal medicine, fitness and nutrition, program development, teaching, leadership, and communication.
